H13 or 9008 Bulb Specifications

This is the bulb that belongs to the first group of automotive light bulbs and has no restrictions on usage. Thus, you may install H13 for your headlights, rear lights,  or fog lights. You may also see it labeled as 9008.

The H13 light bulb is a halogen lamp that uses a P26.4t base. This means that the H13 has two filaments inside the glass envelope – one for low beam and one for high beam. When you flip the switch to a low beam, only the low beam filament will illuminate. When you switch to a high beam, both filaments will activate and produce more light.

The H13 light bulb has a nominal power of 12 V: 60 / 55 W. The higher the wattage, the brighter the light output will be.
